The Widget Catalogue describes every Widget in the Widget selector. It has one page for each family of Widgets. Column and Bar Charts share a page, as do Line and Area Charts. Each page explains what its Widgets show, which data slots they need and what each slot does.
See Widget Basics for how Widgets are created and resized, and Building Widgets for the Setup and Format tabs that every Widget shares.

Reading the Setup Tables Copy Link
Each page lists the slots of its Widgets in a table, using the slot names shown in the Setup tab.
- Required slots must hold a field before the Widget can show data. Optional slots add detail, such as a Legend or extra tooltip content.
- A category slot groups the data by a field's values, such as Region or Month. Other slots take numeric fields, which the Widget aggregates for each category. See Aggregation for how to change the aggregation.
- Each numeric field in a chart draws as a series in its own colour. A Legend field gives each of its values its own series.
- Some data sources don't support every slot. A slot the data source doesn't support is not shown in the Setup tab.
Reading the Format Tables Copy Link
Each page also lists the Format tab settings specific to its Widgets, with their defaults. These are the defaults AG Studio ships with. Your developer can change them for your application, so a setting may start differently from the table. In Edit Mode, a section with changed settings shows a reset icon in its title bar, which returns every setting in that section to your application's default. See Reset to Default.
