There are many things philosophers are trying to understand these days.
Can a machine think?
What makes a life meaningful?
And: how come AG Grid, with its 3.3mln weekly downloads and 15k stars, doesn't have a Discord?!
Fair question. The truth is we've been busy building the best grid in the world and, as they say, with great grids comes great responsibility. Maintaining a Discord server takes time and serious commitment and now we are READY.
What to expect
- AMAs and Office Hours
- Space for questions and celebrations
- Event announcements prior to social media (so you can get a spot before everyone else)
- Conference ticket giveaways
- Swag giveaways
- Pet pictures
Why Discord?
In May together with Bryntum we co-hosted Beyond the Prompt, a space where over 200 senior engineers shared their experiences with AI. In June our colleagues ran a few sessions and workshops for companies in New York. We also opened our office to host meetups like npmx or Vibe Coding Collective. And for the online crowd, we've started running live sessions.
We heard over and over again: "Where can I learn about the next events?", "It's the first time I met AG Grid team", "Who can I ask about theming/roadmap/AI features?", or "Are birds real?"
We kept hearing the same thing from people in the community: it would be good to have somewhere to keep talking. Somewhere to ask a question on a random Tuesday, share what you're building, or just see what other people are doing with AG Grid.
So we built that somewhere.
If you've got a question or you just shipped something you're proud of, our Discord server is your space!
See you in there.
