# Installing a Licence Key

A licence key is validated and configured in the application.

### Configure Your Application

The snippets below assume AI features are not used. To see the snippets with AI features enabled, use the tool on [this page](https://www.ag-grid.com/studio/archive/3.0.0/javascript/licence-install/).

### Add Your Dependencies

Copy the following dependencies into your `package.json`:

```js
dependencies: {
    "ag-studio": "3.0.0"
}
```

Or install using npm:

```bash
npm install ag-studio
```

### Set Up Your Application

An example of how to set up your AG Studio Enterprise Licence Key:

```js
import { AgStudioLicenseManager, createStudio } from "ag-studio";

AgStudioLicenseManager.setLicenseKey("YOUR_LICENCE_KEY");

createStudio(<dom element>, studioProperties);
```
